The largest growing platform of social media is Instagram which very recently launched the new filters for boomerang, moreover, very recently Instagram was been taken by and sold to Facebook and its facebook which made this awesome stuff. We call them Instagram filters
The new filters are launched on Instagram for boomerang-like slow-mo, echo and duo filters which makes users happy, not only these filters but also Instagram has come up with new features like video trim in order to adjust the length according to the requirement.
So, first of all, let us know what is Instagram and why it is used and some history, promise you not going to be boring.
Instagram (also known informally as IG or Insta) is an American photo and video-sharing social networking service owned by Facebook, Inc. It was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger and launched in October 2010 exclusively on iOS.
A version for Android devices was released a year and a half later, in April 2012, followed by a feature-limited website interface in November 2012, a Fire OS app on June 15, 2014, and an app for Windows 10 tablets and computers in October 2016.
The app allows users to upload photos and videos to the service, which can be edited with various filters, and organized with tags and location information. An account’s posts can be shared publicly or with pre-approved followers. Users can browse other users’ content by tags and locations, and view trending content. Users can like photos and follow other users to add their content to a feed.
Now, let us come back to the present tense. hehe, enough of history.
The new filters are available in the Boomerang composer located in the Instagram Stories camera.
With SlowMo, because the name suggests, Boomerang videos are slowed to half their original speed. Echo creates a visual defect effect, enhancing Boomerang and Duo, both quickens and slows down Boomerang, adding a texturized effect.
It is also possible to adjust the length of the video recorded in Boomerang with this new update called video trim.
HOW TO ACCESS:
To access these new effects, take a Boomerang as usually, open the Story camera, swipe over to “Boomerang” on the carousel, then tap the shutter button or hold it down and let go. Next, tap the infinity symbol along the highest of the display to access the new effects.
Instagram recently launched a new “Layout” feature which will allow users to implement multiple photos during a single story.
With this, users now create their Stories with up to 6 different photos, although this new feature was already on third-party apps to make similar images.
A user just has to do is open the Stories camera inside Instagram and search for “Layout” to begin combining the photos. Once finished, just publish the Story like everyone.
